What counts as a whole-home renovation?
It can mean most of the house, but it doesn't have to. It often means several connected rooms where layouts, systems, flooring or finishes need one plan. A kitchen and main-floor refresh, or two bathrooms and new flooring throughout, both qualify. What matters is how the work fits together, not the number of rooms.
Can the work be done in phases?
Often, yes. Phasing depends on which trades rely on each other, how access works, whether finishes need to match and your budget. We'll talk through which parts can sensibly be separated and which are easier to do together. The goal is a plan that works for your household and doesn't create rework later.
Can we live in the house during the renovation?
That depends on the size and location of the work and whether a working kitchen, bathroom and safe access can stay available. We plan work zones, floor protection, dust containment and any planned shutoffs of water or power before we begin. If moving out for part of it makes sense, we'll tell you.
Who coordinates all the trades?
We do. Oakridge coordinates the renovation and the subtrades involved, and your estimate is organized by trade so it's easy to review. We plan the order of demolition, rough-ins, inspections and finishing around the actual work. During active work, you get daily updates on progress and what comes next.
